A few days ago I decided to start a collection to make homeless survival packs. I decided later that same day that it was a lost cause so I didn't even mention it at home. Last night when I was tucking my seven year old son into bed, I winked at him. He immediately broke into tears. After a moment of confusion it turns out that it reminded him of an old homeless man he saw a few days ago. His big heart was broken to have encountered this poor man. As the tears flowed down his face he told me that man had no food, no bike, and no home. I tried to comfort him and reminded him that if that man needed help he would ask for it. He looked up at me with his soggy little face and said: "He was holding a sign that said Please Help, Mom."
The timing of my son showing his big heart was like a sign that somebody out there really needs this help. This is a worthy cause. It just took a little push to get me to do it. How can you ignore a little heart as big as his? I promised I would try to help.
Please, sponsor a homeless survival pack. Winter will be here before we know it. Any amount is helpful, or sponsor an entire pack for only $116.
Hello world! You may have noticed some simplifications on the site. I've decided to do what I love to do and focus my efforts into fine art images for awhile. You are welcome to contact me for sessions, scheduling is scarce but I do have some openings. I can't wait to show you all the images I have in mind! Thank you all so much.
